New Oasis
A nightclub that supports all different types of music (punk, bluegrass, metal, jazz, hip-hop...everything).
Ark-a'ik
"Underground" Reno. Opening line of the site: "Come support the venue, have a cup of coffee, and listen to some good music."
Walden's
A coffeehouse that has music every Friday and Saturday nights. Fridays are showcases which they list on their website and Saturdays are open mic nights. There are some very excellent bands that play there, and it's in a "good part of town."
